Appearance
OG-leaning Phantom phenotypes typically exhibit medium spacing between nodes and a Christmas-tree structure. Their buds are usually lime to forest green with bright orange pistils, often appearing spear-shaped and moderately foxtailed. Cookies/Purple-leaning variants present denser, golf-ball to egg-shaped colas with heavier calyx stacking. These latter phenotypes may display violet to deep purple coloration in sugar leaves and calyx tips, especially under cooler night temperatures. All Phantom variants are noted for heavy trichome coverage, giving them a silvery, frosty appearance that indicates high resin content.
Aroma & Flavor
Classic OG-forward Phantom strains often open with notes of lemon zest, crushed pine needles, and a hint of fuel, correlating with limonene and caryophyllene. The flavor profile typically features bright acidity upfront with a peppery finish. Cookies/Purple-leaning Phantom phenotypes tend to shift towards aromas of pastry dough, baked sugar, light cocoa, and berry jam, often supported by myrcene and linalool.
