About The Leaf Index
The Leaf Index is an independent, ad-light cannabis strain encyclopedia. Our goal is a clean, factual reference for cannabis strains: what they are, where they come from, how they smell and taste, what effects people report, and how they grow.
How entries are made
Each strain entry is compiled from publicly available strain documentation and seed-bank literature, then rewritten by our editorial pipeline into original, plain-language prose. We extract structured attributes (type, THC, terpenes, flavors, reported effects, lineage and growing notes) and present them consistently across every strain so they are easy to compare.
Accuracy & limitations
Cannabis is a highly variable plant. Cannabinoid and terpene levels depend on genetics, cultivation, and testing. Reported effects are generalizations and differ by person, dose, and product. Treat everything here as a starting point, not a guarantee, and never as medical advice.
