Because “Double Rainbow” is a term attractive to multiple breeders, there are circulating cuts that lean closer to Runtz x Zkittlez or Rainbow Belts x Runtz as well. These phenotypes generally maintain the central Zkittlez candy spectrum but might show more Gelato/Runtz creaminess or berry ice cream tones.
Growing
For cultivators, this is a moderately challenging plant that rewards precise environmental control with resin-dripping tops and extraction-friendly returns. Growers should expect relatively high heterozygosity across seed populations and a wide search area to find the “keeper” that truly doubles the rainbow effect. Breeders generally select for terpene intensity, calyx-dominant flowers with a high calyx-to-leaf ratio, and resin that extracts efficiently.
